The Last Sight

 

She had seen this coming for a long time.
Her heart began to ache and it felt like it would burn her into ashes.
Her whole life flashed in front of her eyes, but now the last hue painted everything black and white.
Seeing them, she knew that they will live a life of morals she had taught them since their childhood.
Finally she saw the doors of hope closing in her children’s tearful eyes as her soul said the final goodbye.

Note-: The words came out on hearing the sad news of an acquaintance’s demise.
