Zero Visibility

She was walking with her eyes fixed on the road. Zero visibility in darkness only increased her speed. Home was still a few miles away. She hated darkness yet here she was fighting her darkest demons.
She could hear some foot-steps behind her. She quickened her pace, her heartbeat racing now. She could hear the footsteps fasten too. She wished she could fly to reach home faster.
“Hey Shreya!” voice came from the direction of the footsteps.
Recognizing the owner of the voice, relief washed over her.
“You scared me!”
“And you scared me when you took this route alone!”

My theme is READER’S IMAGINATION: you hear a book’s name and your imagination takes you the world of your own. The world your imagination creates which is totally different than the world which author has created in the book.
