The Sunday Scroll #28
Hey everyone..
July is already here. Can you believe it, half of the year just went away! :O Time flies with such a great speed sometimes, specially when we are having fun. Well the fun days are now over and life is slowly trying to get back on its mundane track. I am still trying to overcome the sort-of dullness that follows after enjoying a lot.
So, as the good times went by so quickly the low times made their appearances before we could even brace ourselves for it. As now the time decided to make its presence felt, I could find only thoughts for company. And you know thoughts of these times aren’t the best of the lot. These introspective thoughts often lead us down the lane filled with self-doubt and insecurity. These thoughts make you question every decision you have taken in your life – from your friendships to your relationships, from your favourite color to your career choices, from your impractical dreams to your practical reality, from your hard work to your absent luck….. Is this what they call quarter-life crisis? Or is it the empty mind’s devil on his workshop? Does it happen with everyone or is it just me??
So, as I am trying to adjust to this, a thought just reminded me that I have been totally off-radar with sporadic posts once in while. So a big thank-you if you are still here and bearing with my ranting as I try to get back to blogging/writing again. I should really stop blabbering now.
As for updates from my world, I just got back from an awesome trip a few days back and had a perfect summer vacation. What happened afterwards is a story for another day. For now I want to share my experiences from the trip. I accept I have no experience in writing travelogues, but what is life we don’t keep trying new things. So, I will be soon write those!(I will try to make it really soon, no more lagging behind!! Gosh I have a mountain of pending posts and don’t know when they will see the light! And reading?? Let’s just not talk about that now, ok? Oh god my blabbering!! Forgive me! Please!) Meanwhile if you have any tips regarding travelogues, do share!
So you still here?? Great! Hugs for hearing reading me out. So how was your summer vacations?? Do you have any stories to share??
Don’t stress so much. Take your time and get back. You will be fine 🙂 And travelogues? Learn as you go..Looking forward to them!
Thanks a ton for the support Parul 🙂
I haven’t had a summer vacation for as long as I can remember but when I was a child I loved spending them at my uncle’s cabin. Memories are wonderful
I guess, summer vacations become a thing of past as we grow up! They are only getaways from the busy lives!
Taking a break from the virtual world and enjoying life in the real world is perfectly okay, so enjoy your break 🙂 I do it all the time 😉
Looking forward to your travel post 🙂
Thanks dear! Well now it’s time to get back to virtual world 😉

Just write the way you always do Nibha – straight from the heart – the sights, the sounds, the smells, the flavours and the feel – and there you have a perfect travelogue. The blog’s not going anywhere and neither are we – take your time :-).
Thanks so much for the tips! Hope I write them soon 🙂
Half the year has gone? My God, you are right! The sad part is that time goes slowly when you’re upset…
