The Only Companion!
She thought about the only friend she had now. Her only companion in times of loneliness. The only one who silently walked by her side when nobody else did. The only one to be at her side when the silent tears kissed her cheeks. The selfless bond they shared would definitely put every other bond to shame. Eyes showed innocence, care, love and loyalty; rarely found in this world.
Thinking about the latest friend in her life, she spoke to herself, “How do I tell her about you?”
She knew her mother would never approve of it, she hated dogs.
This post is written in response to the Write Tribe’s 100 Words on Saturday prompt– How do I tell her about you
Great post. Maybe mother is scared and doesn’t hate dogs 🙂
hehe!! may be once the dog had bitten her! 😛
Awww..but she’s so cute..tell your mom about her, gradually she’d love her 🙂
I still don’t have one! But i would love to! 😛
A very different take on the prompt. Good idea. Not everybody understands a canine friend.
Thank you so much kalpana 🙂

I just hope mummy will let her in
I hope so too! 😛
Aw very cute! I had a secret puppy for a while when I was younger…reminded me of that. Wasn’t allowed to keep the pup though…

Aah! A difficult thing to do,if I were the mom here. But sooner or later moms do accept dogs despite their fears or misgivings!!
Hehe! Yah can say that! But I don’t think my mom would allow it.. 🙁
You did justice to the prompt. 🙂

Beautiful take on the prompt! 🙂 And I think she can ask her Mom…..who knows she might agree for her daughter’s happiness 😀
