The Sunday Scroll #2

So Sunday is back and so is the weekly Sunday Scroll. This week just flew away and without my noticing it’s Sunday again. Lost in the sea of assignments and deadlines, I had totally forgotten about the Sunday Scroll. It was for the song “Tumko dekha, toh ye khayal aaya…” playing on FM, that I suddenly remembered writing my Sunday post just in time! Well, you might be wondering what’s the relation between this beautifully romantic song and my Sunday rant post. So, here’s what happened-

When RJ played one of my favorite song, I stopped my work to listen the song and relax a little. Enjoying the music, I was blankly staring at the things on shelf when my notepad stared back at me. And it struck me that there was something I had to write that I didn’t. So as soon as the song finished, I put aside my assignment and stretching my break a little more I picked up my notepad (that had been feeling ignored for quite some time now, As the post for A-Z are pre-scheduled, there isn’t much writing these days). So now you know how grateful I am to this song else this would have been a Scroll-less Sunday! So, I dedicate this song to my notepad (Tumko dekha to ye khayal aaya…) and my love for writing (zindagi dhoop Tum Ghana saaya..)! I know its not a romantic dedication but a weird one but that’s how I am!

So coming back to the week that was. A-Z challenge smoothly finished off its second week (Yayiee!!) and I’m still no where to catch up with reading/commenting/sharing! But again, I thank you all for showering the love.
Well nothing much happened this week except that it started in hyper-tension mode and ended in celebration mode. The project that was due for so long was finally gone with wind this Friday and relief prevailed over ever since but not for long. The fate is still doomed as the assignments and the finals line up next! But it felt good to be back here in blogosphere (even if its just for a very little time). I will start returning the visits but will be taking it really slow! Hoping that you will keep reading the Diary of an Ordinary Girl, I now sign off to be back to work!
