Dear Dreams || 30 Letter Series

Hi Everyone!

For the love of letters I decided to join in the 30 Letter series which I happen to stumble upon through Santulan’s blog. It instantly caught my fancy. But the idea of committing myself to writing a letter each day of the month was quite uninviting. So, i simply decided to bend the rules a little and made it A Letter A Week.

So I want to invite you all to join in this challenge and have some fun! Will you board the Train of Letters??

Well, I know, I am not being much regular on writing a weekly letter. Much against my wishes Life intervenes and the first thing that suffers is my dearest blog. But this is home to all my words, so I may be late but I surely get back here.

So let’s get started with the fifth letter. Letter to Your Dreams.

Dear Dreams,

I say Dreams and not Dream  simply because there are more than one (a whole long list so can’t mention each and every one here)and I want to talk every one of them. I really hope you are listening.

First of all I want to apologize if any one you felt ignored for any moment in my life. I really never forgot you.  You are too precious to be forgotten or to let go of you so easily. You were always there deep down in my heart if not in my words or thoughts at any given moment. You were never forgotten even if you thought I ditched you and followed others’ dreams, because then too I secretly wished to break free and make you come true. If only it was so easy. And you know that, don’t you?  Your bunch is totally different from your other family members like goals and ambitions. And when Life calls, we often have to keep your bunch on hold to fulfill the demands of your beloved family.

You know you aren’t the same for me as you are for others. For me you hold a totally different meaning and also a total different life. I know I have disappointed you in the past but I hope you haven’t given up on me yet. I also know some of you left me when I couldn’t stay strong. They left but the void is still there and that pain still hurts. May be they left me for good and to never come back again. May be because they left, new ones could join you. May be that’s how the things were meant to be. Anyways I wish I had this courage then that I am slowly gathering up now. I ask you a little more time to wait for me.

Even you know that the road to reach you was never a cakewalk but a life-long roller-coaster ride. Trust me I do want to jump in and shout my lungs out at every up and down of this ride. And I am sure that I will be walking down that road really really soon. Yes, I will chase you like hell and there’s won’t be anymore hide and seek then. Then you will know that I never lied when I used to recite “If you can dream it, You can do it”! It’s just a matter of time and soon the tables will be turned and voila! I will be there where you want me to!

Hoping to see you soon,

With loads of Love,

Write to your Dreams now, they will surely listen to you! 🙂

Link your letters in the comments!!! Would love to read them! 🙂

  1. such an encouraging and sweet letter Nibha! 🙂

I’ve been saying those lines too – “If you can dream it; you can do it” for a long time now and it helps and works! 🙂

  2. How lovely…a letter to your dreams! Sometimes I think I should take my dreams out and dust them off one of these days and quit settling. Still I am content on the most part, so sometimes I wonder why I should rock the boat thinking crazy. 🙂

  3. Dreams! Ohh!! The inspiration and the source of life too. Lovely one Nibz.

I actually forgot about the letter series. I should write on this. 🙂 Thanks for the reminder dear.
